Annette Funicello Bears

Artyom is a 7 inch bear from the Annette Funicello's Russian Collection. This bear was designed by Carol-Lynn Rossel Waugh, a bear artist and photojournalist, as a memento of her trip to Russia. Artyom is the name of the baby in the family that Carol stayed with in Russia. This little bear was purchased September 1993 from QVC.
Artyom wears his signature purple pin in his left ear and is numbered 1556 of a limited edition of 5000. Artyom is the little brother of another Russian Bear named Dmitri (see listing).
Artyom is a slender white-short-plush bear with shaved muzzle and a hump on his upper back, in a styling of Russian bears. He is a fully jointed bear. His paw and foot pads are a putty grayish-brown felt. his acrylic eyes are dark brown as is his hand-stitched nose, mouth and eyebrows.
Artyom wears a 3/8 inch red satin ribbon around his neck that is tied in a bow in the front.

Artyom comes with his own white metal stand. His certificate of Authenticity and tag are in pristine condition since there were stored in a photo album and will be sent along with him. The bear was displayed for a time. Except for some dust, he is in excellent condition.
The box, found in storage with another bear has been reclaimed for Artyom. It has writing on it. see photo
He comes from a smoke free home.
